BMW
The predecessor of BMW was the company Rapp Motorenwerke GmbH, founded in 1913 by Karl Rapp. They changed the name in April, 1917, first to BMW GmbH, BMW's popular logo was created when the company was devoting itself to the manufacture of engines of plane, and it symbolizes a propeller in movement on a blue sky, colors that coincide with those of the flag of Bavaria.
