Known as the "highway of death" in this way, 69 miles, leading from La Paz to the Yungas region, is legendary for the number of accidents recorded per year.In 1995, the Inter-American Development Bank christened it as "the world's most dangerous road" because too often fall into the empty vehicles as a result of the narrowness of the road and steep ravines.
