CARS

Mechanic, military engineer, writer and French inventor, gave the great step, on having constructed a steam car (to see photo), designed initially to drag pieces of artillery. The Fardier, since it was called it Cugnot, began to circulate along the streets of Paris in 1769. It was a question of a tricycle that it was mounting on the front wheel a boiler and an engine of two vertical cylinders and 50 liters of displacement; the front wheel was proving tractora and directive simultaneously, working both cylinders directly on her. In 1770 the second model constructed, major that the first one, and that could drag 4 ' 5 tons to a speed of 4 Km./h. With this version there took place the one that might be considered to be ' the first car accident ' of the history, when the correct one turned out to be impossible
